OUR MISSION

Water is just the beginning.

Every bottle we give is a gesture of hope.

WHY
WE
EXIST

Good Karma exists to make clean water accessible to all.

For every bottle purchased, we provide water to unhoused individuals who need it most.

We believe small acts of kindness create ripples of change and that your daily choices can help restore dignity, one bottle at a time.

How we help

CLEAN WATER ACCESS

We distribute water bottles to shelters, community centers, and those in need.

Our aluminum bottles are eco-friendly, refillable, and reduce single-use waste.

SUSTAINABLE IMPACT

All profits are reinvested in food and water programs across underserved communities.

My name is Japjot Sethi, I am an entrepreneur and product leader with deep expertise building scalable technology solutions for over 17 years. I have founded 3 companies, invest in startups with a meaningful purpose and also enjoy advising entrepreneurs to get them from zero to One. I currently work in a technology leadership role at apple.

Japjot was born in New Delhi, India, and came to the United States in 2000 at the age of 18. Japjot went to UCSD to get his bachelors in Electrical Engineering. Japjot first started volunteering at the homeless shelters in San Diego in 2020, which urged him to help the people in need. Using the guiding principles of Sikhism, Japjot always wanted to make sure the food is easily accessible to anyone in need. In 2019, Japjot and his very close friend Devinder Kumar decided to create a non-profit to launch a food truck which would serve free food to anyone in need.

Devinder Kumar

Co-founder &
Social Impact Leader

Devinder was born and raised in Chandigarh in northern India. Having started his professional career with a job as a pharmacist, Devinder decided that food, his original passion, could be an effective tool in providing health to one’s body and soul as the prescriptions he was filling. With this realization in mind, he decided to pursue his passion and took a job in his family’s restaurant. He combines his knowledge of food and medicine to create enticing dishes that are nutritionally balanced. Before co-founding Free Meals on Wheels, An entrepreneur at heart, Devinder went on to start three successful restaurants of his own before becoming an Executive Chef for Stanford Dining. In his sixteen years as a chef, Devinder has developed several higher education dining hall/ concepts and helped many clients in building successful management teams. While doing all that, Devinder felt that there was a void between his career and his purpose of life. Keeping selfless Seva as a center of his thoughts, helping to bridge the gap between nutritious food and food insecure community, Devinder co-founded Free Meals on Wheels.

“Kindness doesn’t end with us.
It begins again with you.”
